I love decorating my home for the seasons. It’s a fun way to bring some Hallmark joy into my life. I know. I’m a cheeseball.
First, I made a cherry blossom wreath! Crazy, huh?
First, I took got some hoop rings that people use for stitching and I painted them a light pink color. You won’t really see the hoop ring but it never hurts to keep your bases covered – literally.
I used “blossom” colored paper from Paper Source (but any pink hued paper will do), thick white printer paper, and a clear vellum paper. I actually found some vellum at Paper Source that had a cherry blossom print on it and it was on sale! It didn’t really matter though, so I would suggest a cheaper vellum. I made different sizes of cherry blossoms using this tutorial:
I know it is a lot of work, but a good episode of Once Upon A Time and some scissors got the job done. Woo hoo! Look at how many pretty cherry blossoms I got.
Now for that gorgeous Cherry Blossom Bonsai Tree, Pink. I love it!
